Event Performances

The SoundMaker Event performance feature triggers unique performances when an event is posted. Currently, two are available: Engine Designer for vehicle engine sound creation and XYPad for real-time sound modulation, with more to come in future updates.

Modulators

SoundMaker modulators enable dynamic control of component properties, either internally or via runtime parameters. This allows real-time adjustments to key sound elements like pitch and volume, offering greater flexibility and creativity in sound design.

DSP Effects

SoundMaker offers a range of DSP effects that can be added to any component, with modifiable parameters for real-time control. These effects, such as reverb, delay, and distortion, can be dynamically adjusted through modulators, allowing for precise shaping and manipulation of sound elements to create rich and immersive audio experiences.

Timeline Component

The timeline feature in SoundMaker offers a multi-track component for layering and crossfading sounds. It links the timeline with volume and pitch curves that can be controlled by game parameters, allowing for dynamic and responsive soundscapes.

Runtime Parameters

The runtime parameter window allows you to link parameters from the game with internal component properties.

Event Recorder

The event recorder in SoundMaker captures the audio output during an active event, allowing users to easily save and export the recording. The recorded audio can then be dragged and dropped into any audio application, streamlining the workflow for editing or further sound design.

Commercial Use

Designers looking to use the editor for creating their own interactive sample libraries for commercial projects will need to make a one-time payment of $95.

This fee is waived for purchased interactive sound libraries.

For Developers

Developers wishing to use SoundMaker Editor and Players to design and implement their own interactive audio libraries for their games can license the editor and players:

The license price depends on the budget level of the game:

Level A: Budget of less than $500k - $500
Level B: Budget of less than $1.5 million - $1,000
Level C: Budget of more than $1.5 million - $2,000
